Students will interpret the role of geography in shaping United States history.

Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom.
Students will learn about different states and how they helped shape the United States as we know it today. The students will use the template to construct their report. They will be able to modify the template as they need for their report.
Activity #1
Students will pick one of the 50 states and research the information on the above document. They will present the information in class.
I like having a template for the student to modify. This will help them know what is expected of them and what information they need to research. They can expand on the document with additional information and modify it to fit their needs.
